With Developmentally Appropriate Practice as the core of our curriculum and the Missouri Early Learning Standards as our guide, we understand that each child will enter preschool at a different level of readiness. As teachers we will foster their social and emotional development with activities that promote independence, sharing, and positive self-esteem. During our traditional Circle Time the children sing songs, do finger plays, and get moving! We also work on the basics such as counting to 10, ABC’s, color and shape recognition, and opposites.
